If you are CBJ and you could get E. Lindholm on a trade and extend deal would you give up the third overall pick to do that? Would that be enough to get them to the playoffs next season? I think Kekalainen must be thinking he has to get results soon. He has been the GM for 10 years so time is running out.
Would you do it if you are Calgary? They have a new GM and a young coach so a re-build might be acceptable to the local market.
