Why are you limiting yourself to U25? That seems like a random number. I am not wasting early draft picks on this year's draft class for a brand new fantasy league as most leagues end after one season. My advice is draft to win in year one and worry about the future later. Too many GMs will be trying to draft for the future so the easiest year to win a new dynasty league is in year one.

With that said, my ranking of the 10 guys on your list would be this:

    Pettersson
    Hughes
    Stutzle
Bedard (if you think the league will last 5+ years otherwise he drops way down)
    Zegras
    Hischier
    Suzuki
    Cozens
    Dubois
    Fantili

Good feedback. For sure expectation is the league will last 5+ years. I am commissioner of the league and have been screening GMs to emphasize need for long term commitment to league. Other measures to promote long term league survival: GMs always pay for two seasons in advance, no refund if quit; start with 16 teams, gives option to evolve over time to 12 team league if have to.

Sounds like you have done quite a bit to improve the chances of this new league lasting a good number of years. To specifically answer the question, here is my take on ranking:

Bedard - 2 options here, he is indeed a generational talent and will be the key piece for your team in 2 years and beyond, or, he is utilized as an absolute monster trade chip to use now to turn your team into a championship club immediately and beyond.

    Hughes/Pettersson

    Stutzle

    Hischier

    Zegras

    Suzuki

    Cozens

    Dubois

    Fantili
    14 Team Roto; Keep 25; 12 F, 6 D, 2 G; 10 Farm; 5 Bench; 5 IR;

    Salary Cap - 102.5 Mil

Scoring Cats: G, A, Pts, PIM, Hits, BS, SOG, F Points, D Points; Win+Ties+SO, GAA, SV%

    Keepers

F: Aho, Larkin, DeBrincat, Vrana, Bennett, Scheifele, Kakko,Tolvanen, McBain,

    D: Heiskanen, Fox, Toews, Lundqvist

    G: Swayman, Andersen, Copley

    Drops

F: Gaudreau, Terravainen, Puljujarvi, Kravstov, Zary

    D: Brannstrom, Cernak, Alexeyev

    G: Korpisalo, Merzlikins

FARM: Rossi, Berggren, Holtz, Savoie, Clarke, Tarasov, Wolf

I more less agree with the above. I would have Stutzle swap places with EP though.

I agree with this and I also think Byfield needs to be on this list… to me he is top 5 assuming we are looking year or 2 ahead… I think he flirts with 60 next season and up from there

Good point about Byfield. Leads me to mentioning other young centers (under 25) that some readers may consider worthy of being on the top ten list. I will throw some names out there to see if any any Dobber readers believe they should be promoted to the top ten list:

    3. Beniers (20)
    4. Hayton (22)

    6. Eklund (20)
    7. Kent Johnson (20)
    8. Wyatt Johnston (20)
    9. Stankoven (20)
    10. Necas (24)
