You also go from 2 guys that can be the #2 best player in the draft to 1 guy. It's no where near worth the 1 spot jump. And in a way off chance, you could get Fantilli at #3.

i will also say NO , that said if michkov was coming over next fall i probably would have said yes..i think he would have challenged Bedard if he was in north America...from what we hear, he is that good...

If the team drafting #2 can be patient and wait for Michkov to come over, he is the better pick at #2 in my opinion (Michkov is going #2 in my league). If he wants the player that can hit the NHL now-ish, Fantilli is the choice.
If you’re in a dynasty league that your confident will be around for at least another few years, I see Michkov as the better pick at #2 overall. So the difference in pick #2 and #3 is small at best. No way I’m trading the 5th overall for 13th + 14th overall.

i personally dont think trading Timo has any impact on this but i agree that they most likely take MM if he is there at 4.
