Default Defense Wins Championships - Prelim Keepers

Hopefully that is true because they are the best part of this team.

Pick any 12 off this list to keep for next year. A lot of similarish players so trying to solicit some opinions. Cats below. Team finished 4th out of 12 this past season.

I would keep the entire defense minus Dobson and then Connor, Point, Miller, Batherson, Nichushkin, Marchand. Goalies are nothing special and you could probably redraft equal or better options.

Wow you really are stacked at D. Is it at all possible to consolidate any talent through 2 for 1 trades? With the quality of guys you’ve got, I’m sure there are teams crying for D out there. If you can package any D and F together for an upgrade even if it’s an overpay, you’ll be further ahead.

Sorry, I know this doesn’t answer your question directly. But man you’ve got some tough choices.

I like all your D more than your F but you really don’t need 7D of that calibre in a start 4 league. I would be leaning towards keeping all of them though and filling out the rest with F of your preference. I don’t think your G factor into the decision at this time.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

    I'd keep:

    Forwards:
Connor, Point, Marchand, Batherson, Zegras, and Miller

    Defense:
All of them except for Theodore, Columbus is a wagon in the making and I want the PP1 QB in Werenski there

and no goalies worthy of being kept imo, i'd try to shop Hedman, Werenski, Dobson and definitely have Dahlin, Heiskanen, and Bouchard as guys you want to keep. you can get better forwards imo to keep if you can move some of those D men, making your overall team much stronger.
12 team deep keeper league, 17 main roster players, 5 prospect players, max 2 goalie keepers for the main roster. point breakdown goes as follows:
    Skaters:
G is 4 points, 5.2 points for D goals. A is 2.5 points, 3.25 points for defense. 0.07 per FOW, 0.2 points for blocks, hits, and SOG 0.5 points for PIMS and +/-, 3 for SHG, 1.5 for SHA.
    Goalies:
GS is 1.5 points, -1 for GA, 0.2 for SV, 4 for SHO, and 3 for W.
