AHL Seeking One Last Replacement Manager for a Free H2H Dynasty Hockey League on Fantrax

Are you in search of an active, multi-stats, salary cap, keeper/dynasty hockey league? Join our community of competitive managers on Fantrax and experience a fun upcoming DRAFT of players between two replacement managers.

Face off against some of the most skilled and dedicated managers out there with year-round activities, including UFA auctions, RFA auctions, and General Drafts. Trading discussions never stop.


Scoring stats: A, BS, FOW, GWG, G, Hit, PIM, +/-, Defense Scoring (2G+A), PGI, SGI, SOG, Tk, TOI (skaters), SV, SHO, Min (goalies), W, GAA and SV% (14 skater and 6 goalie stats).

Salary Cap: 110% of NHL cap. Player cap hits are actual cap hits in NHL. Contract expirations are based on actual RFA and UFA expirations in the NHL. Up to $15 million in cap space can be traded.

Rosters: daily lineups with min 15 active and max 5 bench, 4 minor and 10 prospects. Only active and bench players count towards salary cap.

We use FAAB (virtual cash) for awards and fees, including FA bidding. The amount of available FAAB is important to roster building and will be used during the offseason auctions to buy additional players.

AHL was founded in 2012. It’s a 16-team free H2H league (only $10 in Fantrax fees and the shared cost for a commemorative trophy cup for the Champion).

I'm a manager in this league. It's a great league with excellent admin and a good group of GMs. It's competitive but there are lots of different ways to try to win, thanks to the H2H style. And the reliance on real-player contracts for team building purposes makes building a team much more dynamic and fun than most keeper/dynasty leagues.

Are you looking for some summer fun and a great fantasy hockey community?

We're rearing to go with a fun replacement draft but we're still looking for a GM to join us. This is a really fun format.

We are soon also conducting RFA auctions based on real NHL contracts where you get to bid FAAB for any 2023 RFA in the NHL (even those with already signed extensions). Later we're bidding on all 2023 UFAs in the NHL also using FAAB. These are really fun and competitive summer events but that's not all the offseason action.

There is also a General Draft after all the bidding. All amateurs and remaining FAs are up for grabs in September.

Trading is also open and there's a lot of trading and trading talks throughout the year.

Update:

There became four vacancies in AHL and two positions have been filled. The four new GMs will take turns picking from the pool of players below as soon as we have added two more guys and everyone has gotten some time to get up the learning curve. This is a free, complex, cap-based, and fun keeper format and the replacement draft allows each of the replacement managers to start shaping their rosters right away.
