Report: Kravtsov Signs in KHL

Via Rick Dhaliwal on Twitter, Kravtsov will sign a two-year deal with Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL.

Didn't really stand out once he got to the Canucks. This trade cost the Canucks very little (Will Lockwood and a 7th round pick), while it clears just under $1 million in cap space.

Championat is reporting that Vitali Kravtsov will sign a two-year deal with Traktor in the KHL.

In that case, the #Canucks    could still retain his RFA rights with a qualifying offer.

Every year the hype ramps up surrounding the draft, the top 10 are all stars, a good number considered elite, the next ten are all guaranteed must own NHLers. Or not. A great, yet sobering post! There is still hope for most of these guys but star quality is most definitely not in the cards IMO. Denisenko could well be on the same flight back to mother Russia with Kravstov (:

He might enjoy North Carolina enough to stay around lol.

But he had some success when he came up with the Panthers in January if I recall correctly. They'll def need prospects to pan out as they have a TON of UFAs coming up and no picks to back fill them.

So he's an RFA and at least find out very quickly if he'll want to stick around Charlotte for 1 more yr before getting a big opportunity to be an NHLer in 2024.
