Default Who is worth holding onto? (Keep 3)

16-Team Bangers Dynasty, coming out of a long-term rebuild, I've been holding onto certain players for a long time in the hopes of them living up to their potential

Lauzon, Bastian, Schneider, Steel, Pully, Greenway, Kakko & Gurianov (current order of fp/g)

If you had to keep 3 or 4, who would you be keeping?

    Will rep!

I agree that Kakko, Greenway and Schneider are the right choices. However, that last choice is a whole lot more difficult to make. However, in a banger format I'm strongly leaning toward rolling the dice (yet again) with Puljujarvi. I don't think he is more of a gamble than any of your other options and if he does pan out, the rewards in your format should be considerably more beneficial for you than taking a shot at any of the other guys.

Kakko (he’s still young) Puljujarvi (he’s almost at 400gp don’t give up yet), Schneider is also very young you gotta keep him, and greenway is approaching that 400gp mark too. In a bangers league Greenway has value but I personally don’t think he will ever be a dynamic point producer at the NHL level though I could be wrong.

Like others, Kakko & Schneider are keeps for me.

I don't view Lauzon as a high-end guy, but he does seem to have a reasonably solid floor.
Puljujarvi may end up in Europe, I think. He could be really good, but he need to turn it up a few notches.
Greenway is a reasonable option as well.

I agree with the consensus on Kakko and Schneider.

Personally, I'd keep Lauzon over Puljujarvi/Greenway which, sounds sort of crazy.

In a banger league, guys like Lauzon should have value. Looking at 250+ hits with a solid dose of PIM and BLK (assuming your league counts those). He's probably the only guy on this list who is ever going to be "elite" at any counting stat in your setup. He's only 26, so there is some room for growth (although, I think 20-25 points is probably a best case scenario) but as mentioned above, there is a solid floor for what he offers. He's Gudas-lite and in all the banger leagues I am in, Gudas always has a home on a contending team.
