B. Schneider or Harley?

I have Rutger McGroarty available for either Thomas Harley or Braden Schneider.

there was a time where Harley was pretty "hot" prospect, im not sure its still the case...i probably say in multicat leagues you go with safer option and go with Schneider...

Having said that if i was you, i would not tred McGroaty for either...imo keep what you have...

I was reluctant to trade him but I have depth at forwards prospects and need to strengthen my D. You think McGroarty will be strong in multicats league?

its really crystal ball situation here lol...nobody knows but yes, if it was me i think he has best chance to be really impactful from any of those 3...and when it comes to prospects...unless i really like what im getting better than what i have i prefer to keep my players.

if you dont make a trade and you are wrong it sucks but you move on...if you make that trade and McGoraty is much better then others...you will not be a happy camper for a while

A year or two ago I’d probably say do the trade. But in multicat format though Schneider should be a very good multicat defenseman, mcgroarty has the best chance to be the best out of the bunch. Hits, some PIMs and potential to score as a top sixer. I think I stand with Belexus here and stay put with McGroarty.

Schneider - Lower points upside, but already in the NHL and solid peripherals
McGroaty - High risk, high reward

Harley - I think he's going to be an NHLer but as far as fantasy relevance goes somewhat boom-bust. Either going to be a 15-25 point 3rd pairing guy or a 50+ point pp specialist. Less peripherals than Schneider too.
