I know there is a bit of an age gap, but curious where you'd slot Pelletier in with this years draft class. Multicat league

I’d probably put him in around the 8-10 mark against this draft. I think he still has high potential but needs Sutter to flutter and to get some solid ice time. This draft is so deep but if I had the chance to have Pelletier over let’s say 10th pick I think he’s far closer and has good upside whereas you’re not sure what you’re going to get at 10th.

Outside the top 20 for me. If you want to give him credit for being closer to the NHL than most 2023 draftees, that's fine and maybe he gets into the teens. But Pelletier looks like a 3rd liner at best.

Now that Sutter is out, his chances improved greatly. He was flying out there when he was allowed to. I see a Jaden Schwartz. Outside top 10 still but not below 15 for me.

obviously there be misses as every year..but first round looks very stacked right now....i would agree with Senryu and put him outside top 20 at best..maybe even outside of first round.

He feels so underrated to me. Classic hes productive as heck but he's small... only he had a ridiculous rookie season in the ahl and year 2 was even better! Apparently his defensive game is good too- his drawbacks are hes short (which hasn't held him back at the AHL level) and that Sutter doesn't like rookies (only hes fired now). I think he's got attainable 65 point upside and if he keeps surprising us there could be a ppg player hwre or at least a regular top six and top pp type of player.

This tip 10 is not really all that crackable though. Top 15 is a great valuation imho. The people sayimg round two I feel like thats not gonna age well haha! Well see though- great topic...
