Gus and Jarry. Grub is not shutting out VGK right now.
I need Wins and a miraculous shutout. Which 2 give me the best chance?
Jarry @ CBJ (confirmed, Pit eliminated)
Gustavsson @ Nsh (confirmed, Min locked into 3 seed)
Grubauer vs VGK (confirmed, could jump LAK for 3 seed)

The best shot at shutout is PIT vs. CBJ. So definitely Jarry.
I think PIT will play well... they actually did vs CHI - just got outlucked.
They need to save face on season with a very strong game.
You'd have to check twitter on the Wild... I think Hartman is out tonight and I wouldn't be surprised if they are resting players.
Nashville is young & spry right now. I feel like that game, in Nashville, is a Preds win.
Seattle (100pts) has a chance to catch MIN (102pts) and/or LA (102pts).
I think they'll be quite hungry... whereas even though VGK needs a point to win the West... they can do no worse than 2nd.
I, personally, think it's more important for VGK to be healthy than to win this game.
Also - VGK just needs a point. So they may be more "playing for a tie"... and if so - you've got a good OTW play for Seattle.
And the "win" is what matters.
I'll go with Jarry/Grubauer (not to be different, but because I think SEA and NAS are just "hungrier" teams tonight than their opponents.)
[I'm actually a bit surprised that MIN would go with Gustavsson - who I expect is their "starter" for playoffs.]
Definitely a fair point, and just came back to note that Grubs is confirmed now.
Nashville might be a little deflated now with this being the first game since they got eliminated.

I don't think there is "deflated"-ness for a young team like they are.
This isn't the "end of the road" for any of their veteran players.
I think they are all really loving getting out there and scoring goals.
If anything - they (NAS) may be a little more creative tonight - with nothing to lose any more in season.
That's tough... to play a team with "nothing to lose".
Case-in-Point: CHI against PIT a few nights ago.

If you are going purely after a win... I'd check vegas (betting) odds on how they are running their lines for straight-up win, per team.
https://www.vegasinsider.com/nhl/odds/las-vegas/
Nashville is FAVORED right now... with -130 thru -145.
Vegas is LESS FAVORED right now... with -118 thru -128.
ie. Minnesota and Seattle are both underdogs... but Seattle is less of an underdog.
(So the professionals agree with my take. Wink emoji.)
Be checking in on those lines over next few hours.
He just needs a shutout, not a win

Jeebus... well, I'm done in this thread.
I hate when a thread changes after I've put in leg-work/research.
(My theory is that obviously the SO comes with a, likely, win. Besides - having a late-game to watch is always fun... but NAS has been shut-out a few times in the last few weeks... so for pure SO... yeah, that's probably the better bet.)
Nashville is missing almost all their top F.
