28 Team Keeper Starting 23-24 Season

Looking for a keeper league thats worthwhile, unique & fun? This brand new league is the perfect keeper that emulates the NHL. We will have 28 teams, instead of 32, so that we have waivers to use. Playoffs will be a 4 round NHL playoff. H2H weekly matches. Draft date will start July 1st. We will use FANTRAX's treasury feature for the buy-in & pay-outs. After running a league for the past 5 years with a small buy-in, im looking to add more rewards for winning. (league winner, division winners, 2nd seed each div, get payout) All info will be in our league discord. Here are the league details;
Basics:
- Fantrax Premium League
- H2H points
- 28 teams
- 4 divisions, 7 teams per
- 2 matchups per week. (Start Monday, end Sunday)
- Playoffs mirror the NHL’s

Rosters:
- Roster size total = 33 (8W’s,4C’s,6D,1G,3bench,10minors)
- 4 IR spots
- 2 max Gs (not including minors)
- Minors are classified like the NHL rookie system. (18 y/o - 25, and/or 25 career GP)
- Scoring is completely custom. I developed it over the past 10 years of fantasy hockey & it’s perfect! I will send more info to those interested.
- Waiver wire starts off as opposite to our first league draft. Once set, teams will only move up, if a team above them claims a player of active waivers. (A player who was recently dropped is on waivers for a few days.)
- 4 claims per week. (Resets after every matchup)
- Keeper amount will be voted on upon joining, but will be around 10-12 with all minors included.
Draft:
- Opening draft will be a slow draft.
- Draft will be all, non-minors at first, then minors only to finish.
- After the opening draft, each year we will have a non-snake draft similar to the NHL's.
- We will use the NHL lottery as well for draft order each year.
Fees/Buy-In:
- The Buy-in will be 100$.
- We will be usuing FANTRAX's treasury feature for easy buy-in & instant pay-outs.
- Div champions, 2 seeds, & the league champion will get a payout. The exact amount for each will be voted upon joining.
Extra:
-We have a discord group chat set up for the league. This way it makes it much easier to communicate with everyone during the season & off-season. I will also utilize the new chat feature on FANTRAX.
- I want to make it as close to the NHL as possible, including; power rankings each month, photo editing for the draft lottery, playoffs & regular season. I have some examples I can show to those interested. They also will be in the discord.
- I also will have a surprise CAMEO sent out at the beginning of the year!
- We are looking for active owners
