Who to start tonight?

Who do you start tonight? In my h2h finals and need a win.

Andersen @ NSH or Korpisalo @ VGK?

CAR has been stumbling a bit, but NSH is pretty banged up. The Kings have been steamrolling (won 7 of their last 10, 14 of their last 20), but I'm guessing VGK will be starting Quick against his old team so it's gonna be an emotional one and who knows what can happen.

Feels like a coin flip (goalies are voodoo!!!) so instead of a coin I'll just go with the poll results.

I am rolling with Andersen.

Nashville is going to play a tight game because their playoff lives depend on it. So even if Nashville wins - I don't think it will be a blow out.

I always start the best player if there's a reason to believe it's close. That would be Andersen for me.

I always lean in with Vegas odds for pure win, if that's what you need.
We can pretend we are smarter than the gurus at betting agencies... but we're not.

DraftKings (just ONE source) has the following money lines:
CAR -195 (vs NAS)
LA +100 (vs VGK)

So... Carolina & Andersen are obviously the pick.
This said - a lot of casual bettors are unaware that Carolina is stumbling a bit with injuries... but I do think Carolina lines up well against Nashville - whose puck luck with their forward patchwork seems destined to eventually flounder - especially against a great D system in Carolina.

I'm with Andersen as well.

Betting lines are generally set to maximize action, so they are what Vegas line setters think bettors think, rather than than just what they think, but it's generally pretty close. I do suspect that Golden Knights & Raiders games may be the exception, since there are now home town teams.
