What to do with Logan Thompson

He's off of IR now. Who is droppable for Thompson? Also, with Quick in the mix, and doing quite well, will Thompson be given the chance to take the top spot? Not sure what to do with him at the moment.

I think he should get the chance to take the job back. At first glance I would say Hartman is the drop, but if you can hold off and wait to see when he's actually getting the net back I would as you could have an injury that allows you to just swap him in without dropping anyone.

Dropping Hartman would leave me with only 2 Cs which could leave me with an empty slot during heavy nights such as today.

That he is. Fortunately, I didn't take him off of IR. Question remains the same for when he does come back.

Quick has a 3.53 GAA and an .896 SV% with Vegas. I don't think anyone else but you thinks he is doing "quite well".

Those numbers are pretty much the league average for goaltending these days aren't they (:

I dropped Thompson when he came off IR the first time. I have two other goalies and couldn't justify a third spot for a guy that would likely split the games.

If Lehner's back & healthy, he's in a tandem at worst.
Quick should be retiring. Being traded form LA should be the signal, but he may hang around. He's purely a backup at this point, and maybe not even that.
That leaves Thompson, Hill, & Brossoit. That's 3 more goalies, at least one of whom will need to leave. I'd expect Thompson to stay.

Who knows what shape Lehner is in physically, fitness-wise, etc. He is only 31 but he has a lot of miles on that car.

Thompson is locked in for 2 more years at 700k. He is definitely 1 of the 2 options.

Hill and Larry are UFA. One might come back if Lehner packs it in.

As of today I'd assume Thompson is the starter next season.
