    Default 2023 Dobber NHL Playoff Draft - Discussion

    The Dobber NHL Playoff Draft is back for 2023!


    Format

    Scoring
    Skaters and Goalies
    Goal = 1 point,
    Assist = 1 point

    Goalies
    Win = 1 points,
    Shutout = 2 points

    When you draft goalies you draft the whole team's goalies - so you draft Coyotes Goalies as opposed to Ivan Prosvetov.


    - Slow snake draft that takes place in a separate thread in this subforum
    - No positional limitations.
    - Depending on # of participants - we will aim to start playoffs in final week to 10 days before the playoffs (which I believe start April 17). So if you sign up - make sure you are available in that range.
    - Rounds - Depends on number of teams but last year we went 140 picks deep (14x10)
    - Draft lottery date TBA; first team on the clock free to pick once the draft thread has been set up.

    It just means it’s not a live draft. We draft on here in a separate thread. We try to keep it moving and usually leave enough time for guys to draft.
