Fighting will never go away. It won't be as frequent (not that it happens much now) but it will never go away. It's a physical, emotional game and sometimes emotions boil over. Banned or not, it's still going to happen.

It's pretty uncommon. And the NFL comes down hard on fighting. Fighting in the NHL is basically condoned.

Feel free to enjoy watching more than "less than one" fight just from the 2022 season. Your less than one fight per season probably covers the next 10 years on this video alone.
There's fighting in the NFL, whether you want to believe it or not, just like there will be fighting in hockey.

Wild that I just watched a 14 minute video that was apparently about fighting in the NFL and not a single punch was thrown, let alone a punch to the face/head.

It's not about whether or not there are fights in any particular league or sport. There are fights in all sports. The distinction is the penalty for fighting. Very different in almost every other sport.

I'm shocked what you watched wasn't considered fighting. What would you call it? NFL wears full face masks so of course they don't chuck knuckles the same as hockey but there were lots of pops to the mask in that video. That's fighting dude.

I think the players must be getting it out of their system now. Was at the Halifax vs Moncton game yesterday and it got really chippy near the end.
