Default Injuries...do the NHL teams have to disclose when an injured player is returning.

EDIT. No need to read any further. My questions have been answered. Thanks guys.
I don't think so but don't know for sure. Eh guys, turning to you for help as so many of you here are very knowledgeable about matters such as this and other hockey related issues in general.
Do any of you have issues with the way the way team's don't disclose when player's are returning. Is there a solution? One team in my pool is just screaming, crying about losing points because he doesn't know when player's are returning. But we are all in the same boat. B4 I start a discussion with him I have to be sure that "teams don't have to disclose returning players". Honestly, if they don't have to disclose I don't see how there is a solution to this situation.
Appreciate reading any and all thoughts on this matter. THANKS

Like you said everyone is in the same boat. Some teams disclose more than others. If you can't handle being out of the loop then avoid drafting from those teams because Joe Sakic doesn't care about your fantasy team.

edit: Didn't actually answer the OP's question. Teams don't have to disclose anything. Even calling something a lower or upper body injury is entirely the team's choice.

At this time, they dont have to disclose anything. It is extremely annoying for sure but is part of the game.

The NFL is much much better in regards to reporting player injuries and there are significant fines/penalties if injuries are not accurately reported. For the purposes of sports betting, the NHL should/will have to step up their game cause a star player playing/not playing can shift betting lines.
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.

Yep…the NFL gets that if people are going to bet on your games and it’s a big deal that you need to be trasparent or you lose a lot of that revenue. The NHL wants a part of action but they will remain a Mickey Mouse betting outlet until they figure this out.

NHL doesn't have a rule where you need to disclose the injury nor the timeline. Other leagues have this rule so the fans/media know for gambling purposes really.

Will we see the NHL move to be more like the large sports making a lot of money off of gambling? No, because this has been a topic of discussion since Paul Maurice was coaching the Leafs which was 2008
