Hearing Carolina is waiting for a second opinion on Andrei Svechnikov’s injury. There’s concern it’s a torn ACL, which could end his season — but the player and the Hurricanes are, understandably, waiting until all options exhausted. Hoping for the best.

Brutal. Surgery has come a long way in recent years, but those injuries still carry a difficult recovery process and mental hurdles after the physical rehab and recovery is complete. Hope all goes smoothly for him and we see Svech back out there soon.
