Hey all,

Looking to acquire Lafreniere.

The AF owner is looking for goal scoring and I think he has interest in my Forsberg.

I don’t like a 1v1 here even if I think Lafreniere has it in him to be special but not sure how much more to ask for on top of him for FF.

What’s your take on Lafreniere and what would you be willing to move on my team in sig to get it done?

You can ask for Lafreniere + for Forsberg, but honestly I'd settle for 1v1. Forsberg only had one year where he was above PPG, and Nashville were sellers this year. Considering the 7 year age gap, and that NYR will be the better team going forward, I'd sell high on Forsberg while people still remember last year. I'm more optimistic about Lafreniere's potential than I am in Forsberg being a consistent PPG guy going forward.

Barzal could be another option if you don't want to lose Forsberg. Or Batherson, but I doubt they go for it.

I'd be far more optimistic abut LaFreniere's PPG potential than Forsberg, who is a guy who might do it again, and has done it once. The guy most likely to end up at PPG or higher on Nashville is still Josi.

Forsberg is no spring chicken. Its hard for me to suggest more cause I wouldn't even consider ff straight up- if you're actually interested in Laffy thats pretty reasonable even with the risk involved tbh...

I have no issue doing this straight up. You can ask for more, but you don't want to piss the other guy off that's for sure. If you do ask for more, make it reasonable, a mid-round draft pick for example. That said, if you like this deal for you and most of us agree that it is a good deal for you, just make it simple and do it one for one.
