Trade offer of D. Toews + Pionk + 3rd Round Pick for Aho. At least according to FanTrax they are 51st and 60th on D this year.
The changes to my keepers would go from Aho + Gudas to D. Toews + Pionk with everything else equal.
Pionk and Toews have had strong prior years so there's upside. This year not so much. Thoughts?

It's close, and I get that it's tempting, but it's not close enough. Aho is clearly the most valuable asset in this deal and he is a no brainer keeper for you. Toews and Pionk are OK but they are far from being no brainer keepers for you and neither one represents a significant upgrade on your current D keepers. This is the ole quality for quantity offer, 2 for 1 and a ho-hum draft pick. Unless I am getting a higher quality D or some other type of significant piece coming back to me for Aho, this is a pass.

No way, no how. If that pick is a 1st rounder maybe, but even then half your keepers don’t need to be D, especially ones that don’t score much.
I like Ek or Wilson as your last keeper. Gudas is a good draft pick but I don’t think worth protecting over either of those 2. Even Thomas to me is borderline keeper. He’s a healthy source of assists and PPP but isn’t much else.

To me it’s not close at all you get 3 pieces that are ok at best for a star… on top of that you need to drop player to fit 2 for one tradeOriginally Posted by Zorro
