ROR Out Indefinitely
He has been placed on LTIR with a broken finger. However, it does sound like the Leafs expect him ready for the playoffs, and have an ability to play "a chunk" of regular season games. He'll be out a minimum of 24 days and 10 games, meaning the earliest he can come back is March 30th if he's LTIR'd on March 4th.
If he's back ASAP, he'll get 8 regular season games in.
Leafs top 6 deadline acquisitions are cursed.

He had successful surgery today. He is projected to be out 4 weeks.
4weeks would be 13/14 games and he would be back April 4th or 6th. If he comes back then, he'll have 5-6 games to get back into the swing of things.
