We run a keeper cap league. Pts for G,A,PIM(.1) hit(.1), BLK (.1)

    My team consists of:

    M.Schiefle
    Hischler
    T.Zegras
    K.Fiala
    N.Ehlers
    C.Verhaeghe
    M.Necas
    R Hartman
    J.Bratt
    J.Välimäki
    J.Chychurn
    C.Makar
    D.Severson
    I.Sorokin
    T.Konecny
    S.Varlamov
    P-O.Joseph
    U-P.Luukkonen
    B.Horvat

I won’t be winning this year and I’m sitting in 8 out of 12. Been offered a deal and need help.

Nick Suzuki, Bowen Bryam, 2024 first round pick (Top 3 protected moves to 2025 unprotected) 2nd 2023

    For

Nico Hischer, Jesper Bratt, PO Joseph

Suzuki makes little more than $600k over Hischler and an extra 3 years on a rebuilding team. But I have Makar and having Byram behind him gets me excited.

I know there is risk. I wouldn’t be keeping Bratt probably. But will Susuki contribute similar to Hischler?

Does this use actual NHL cap or some sort of custom salaries?

    I'd rank the forwards:
    Bratt
    Hischier
    Suzuki

I prefer Bratt to Suzuki & Hischier as I think he'll be cheaper, and is also definitely a winger. You have no FO categories here.

Joseph versus Byram is close given the team depth in front of them, plus injury history. I'd pass on this.

Salaries are same as NHL. You keep a player for the length of their contract. Positions we use are 3C,LW,RW 4D 5Bench.

Bratt is the most prolific player in this deal and the Devils about to be a force for awhile so I would pass and keep what you have.

This is a pass for me. I think the other posts explain to a degree why.
