Drop one?

To activate Sandin I need to drop someone. Maybe Hathaway, though i really could use his hits. Bertuzzi was my latest pickup and I'd like to keep him, but should I? Ehlers maybe? Or just keep Sandin on IR until someone else goes DTD/IR and roll three D's? I've done that before and it hasn't hurt me. Even though I need to go one short on D some nights, I usually get more production from 3 F starts than from 4 D starts.

If keeping Sandin on IR is an option and you have some confidence going with 3 D then do so. At the least, it buys you some time to see how Hathaway and Bertuzzi fit into the Bruins. In a week or so the picture may be clearer as to which one of these guys is on the bubble and the better drop. If they are both making an impact, which is possible, well, you cross that bridge when you come to it. I wouldn't be dropping Ehlers, it wouldn't surprise me if he finishes the season at a point per game pace, he's close to that now.

Agree with above. I’m in a wait and see situation with my IR slot and I’m fortunate enough to ride it out till playoffs start in a week and half. Do the same if you can!
