I knew it would underwhelm, but it's only like a conditional 2nd and 4th going to CBH

    Conditional 2023 2nd (moves to 2024 or 25 if they make the conference finals) + 2023 4th for P.Kane.

Arizona is a middle team for retained salary.

Trade call expected to come tonight, and P.Kane to make his debut on Wednesday.

No they aren’t. They’ve traded for a couple of aging scorers. These moves should help the PP a little. But compared to what NJ, BOS, TOR have done these moves are meh.

Couple of aging scorers with cups*

Compared to the moves the 3 teams you listed made, I'll take Tarasenko & Kane every day of the week.

Kane deal is an instant accept. Now makes the Tarasenko deal kinda of dumb and in the perfect world they use the assets used in the Tarasenko trade on improving their D.

Panarin-Trochek-Kane line should be fun though.

Patrick Kane is still a game changer. Chicago has been horrible and he has been disinterested. Look what happened when he got ticked off? He popped in 5 goals in two games.

Really? This is just silly. The number of examples out there of trades like this for aging guys with a cup that fizzled are myriad. They’ve made their team better no doubt. But they are in no way a “wagon”.

I love my team. Your statement isn’t wrong. Your statement also has zero bearing on the topic at hand.

    who gets left off PP2?

strong argument this is the best PP2 in the league.

Kane is a great add, but I'm still not sure he was the teams biggest need.
Neither he or Tank are great defenders.

Devils-Rangers better be on opposite nights to Leafs-Lightning.
    Gawd what a first round
