Unless you're a Calgary fan. The only team who hasn't made a trade. Their last trade was the Monahan trade for Future Considerations in August.

Flyers are basically right there with the only deal being Isaac Ratcliffe for future considerations since October. October's deal was a swap of AHL talent, and then you go back to the poor Anthony DeAngelo deal.

Only good part is if Fletcher doesn't make any deals, he can't lose them.

I hope we get some deals out of left field tomorrow because those trade bait boards are looking a bit thin. If not, ah well, this last week has been enough good fun for one year's deadline.

The one thing that might be big enough to keep us entertained is if Vancouver can trade Boeser or Miller (or even Demko). Probably offseason deals if at all, but there's some smoke around them.

Also waiting to see if the Flames pick a direction one way or the other.

Feels like the Hurricanes still have a move to make.

Philly will move JvR but wondering what else they might do. Provorov maybe as the darkhorse blockbuster?

Provorov and Hart were rumored as possibly on the move in the offseason. Neither is a Fletcher pick, but he did extend both of them. The crazy things:

Flyers blueliners younger than Provorov who've played significantly this year: Cam York
The 2 more vaunted prospect goalies that the Flyers have are Sandstrom & Fedotov. Both are over a year older than Hart.

They could move as a package even. If I'm Anahiem, I'd see if the Flyers would consider Gibson, a defender, picks, and something else for the pair of them.

I would think Nashville are open to dealing Barrie. I saw he logged a ton of ice time in yesterday's game but no PP time. He could be dealt to a team that needs some improvement on the PP. First team that pops into my mind is the Habs. But do they want him, or can they even afford him? Arizona? After losing both Ghost and Chyc maybe he's a good addition? As a Barrie owner, I sure hope so.

I think Barrie is a guy they will try and deal if they can, but no good team should really want him if the power play is remotely decent, and no bad team should want him if he helps them. More likley an offseason move.

Seattle has a bad powerplay and could use some help there. However I think that adding an offensive Dman mid-season rarely works out. Its about chemistry and there isn't a lot of time to develop that. And you look at how he integrated into the Leafs system, I think it makes teams hesitant.

There is no way the Habs are looking at Barrie, unless it is a salary dump and we get a pick with it. I think they're happy with Matheson being the PP QB for the time being and next couple of years, until LANE HUTSON takes over that spot (and kills it). We also have guys like Barron and (farther off) Mailloux that they may want to give a look to, and Barrie would only detract from giving them that opportunity.

There was some intense talks between Canucks and Penguins about JT Miller, but the canucks rejected the offer because they wanted a center and the Penguins weren't willing to do that.

So either it was like Hallander (2018 2nd rounder), Sam Poulin (2019 1st rounder), or asked something stupid like Malkin or Crosby.

Either way, the Canucks did not do the right thing.

They are way to cautious about trying to have a winner with Pettersson's deal coming up. They are so nervous about him potentially wanting off a losing team, they will do everything to keep a 500 team together.
