Any Texier insider information?

I’m doing a little retooling in my main league and was offered Texier for a veteran LW.

Anyone know where his heads at these days toward an nhl return next season? I’ve noted he’s played close to 40 games / 29 points in his current league overseas.

I’ve polled a few gms in said league and opinions were varied

CBJ has to qualify him at the end of this season and while they might (asset protection) he's a long shot. Frankly I don't think he'll return and even if he does it would be likely a 3rd line guy on CBJ.
Depending on who you're giving up you can take the chance but the OGM should be giving him away.

It heavily depends on the LW and where he slots into your pecking order, and if Texier is a free stash while overseas or below a games played threshold. If the LW is solid or you can't freely keep him, it's a no from me.

I declined the offer , the lw was Tatar who holds some decent value in a 24 team , 100 mil cap league .

he probably takes a haircut on his next contract too which adds a bit of value next season (likely 3.5 mil somewhere)

I mainly wanted any insider scoops on Texier

Honestly that GM is probably going to drop him and is trying to get something for him. I’m willing to bet you can pull Him off the waiver wire soon.
