Dynasty start up - 10 teams
Yes, I know it’s already the All star break but I was in a league that collapsed due to inactive owners so I took on the role of forming a new league with some of the us that were always active and took it very seriously.
Only 2 more managers needed for a startup dynasty points league on fantrax. Scoring is the same as the league in my signature. The 6 managers currently with a spot are very active and passionate dynasty hockey guys looking to get something long-term going. There will be a fantrax premium fee of $10 for each manager on top of a league fee of $20. Money will be paid/held through fantrax treasurer each year.
- Rosters - 45 total
- 20 active, 10 reserve, 8 IR, 15 minors
- Positions - 4C, 4LW, 4RW, 6D, 2G
- Minors eligibility:
- Goalies - 82 GP
- Skaters - 164 GP
- Start up draft - (WILL START WHEN FULL) This will be a slow draft consisting of 45 rounds. The first 30 rounds will be 4 hours per pick and then reduced to 2 hours for the remaining 15 rounds.
- No 2023 prospects will be eligible for this draft.
- We will be holding a bracket challenge for the 2023 NHL playoffs. The winner of the bracket will get first pick, seconplace will get second pick, and so on.
- Scoring settings - Same as settings in my signature. Our system tries to balance the positional scoring.

- Weekly matchups
- Daily lineups
- 10 transactions per week
- Lineups must be set - no purposeful tanking
- Trades - the only time there would ever be a veto is if there was collusion with proof or something unanimously decided as “league ruining”
- Extras - In attempts to keep everyone active, there will be:
- Monthly articles including league news, projections, trade rumors, “manager interviews” etc.
- Weekly power rankings
- Yearly NHL playoff bracket challenges
- League podcast - hopeful to make this happen. It has been a vision of mine for quite some time and would love to test the waters with this league! - No definite date for the podcast yet but if we can get a good group of active managers, I’ll for sure make this happen.
