I'd get Shea Theodore for Mintyukov and a 2nd round pick (in the 20th-24th OV range, I'm competing for first).
Getting Theodore really boosts my blueline, and I can slide Addison/Bouchard down into my farm keepers so I have the space.
I know Minty is tearing it up, but how far away from actual production? My guess is 2+ years minimum. Am I overthinking this one and I should just get Theodore now?

The problem with offensive defenseman prospects is that they still require landing in the right situation to pop. The dream of having the 1D on a team with prime Zegras, Terry, MacTavish and whomever they get with their lotto pick is nice but I take the bird in the hand of Theodore now. In three years if Mintyukov pops Theodore is still going to be damn productive. Almost a can't lose trade.

Mintyukov has a chance to be very very good but Theodore already is ..easy choice atm...one day you may regret this but there is better chance that league you in wont be around than Minty outperforming Thodore.

Theodore is still young for a Dman. The hope is that Minty becomes what Theodore currently is. Who know if he will get there. This is an amazing deal for you. I own Theodore in one of my leagues. If someone offered me Minty for him I would be offended by the low ball offer.

Take Theo and run. I believe he’s the guy to own in VGK. Injuries derailed him this year but he’s the real deal.
