J.Robertson or J.Hughes ?

if you offered Robertson for Hughes it would be a instant reject imo. I wouldn’t trade Robertson for Hamilton.

I prefer Hughes to Robertson but that’s not happening. And I prefer Robertson to Hamilton.

Hughes IS a wing as well in Yahoo.

Maybe he is right now but you can’t bank on that sticking long term. Assume he will be a center only as soon as next season.

What does your roster look like? Where's your strength and weaknesses as far as your wings and centers go? I'm assuming D is a weakness for you if you're trying to acquire Hamilton.

I don't care if Hughes has wing eligibility today. He's a center and you can't rely on him always having the wing eligibility.

I think this is close enough I'd be happy with either but you went from looking for a D to potentially trading forwards. Don't lose focus on what you're trying to do.

He took over this team mid-season and it’s weak on D. We keep 6 and he doesn’t have a D worth keeping really. I knew Robertson for Hughes would be rejected because I’m the other GM here. His D are DeAngelo, Pullock, Severson, Andersson, Romanov, Chiarot. I offered Addison for Jeanot. Addison won’t be a keeper for me but probably should be for him. He’s so so this year but it’s only a matter of time. He countered with Forsberg and Jeanot for Hamilton and Addison. Don’t think I can weaken my D that much for this year. I’m still trying to make the playoffs.

i agree that Addison shoudl get better, he got lots of room to improve but i think he is capable of it...

however , assuming this is a league in OP's signature, i dont think how you can say that Addison should be kept in the league where 72 guys get kept....i dont think he is in top 150 atm and it does not matter how is someone's D looking...in top 100 you only keep best players imo.

I just added this league signature and removed the other.

I had asked about Hamilton. Was offered Hamilton for J.Robertson. I then countered with Robertson for Hughes because I prefer Hughes. Hughes is a no go. Received offer of Addison for Jeannot. I countered with Forsberg, Jeannot for Hamilton, Addison. Hamilton would be a keeper and helps address my keepers going forward.
