if you get either for that package its a steal...if you have a trade for either take it...I would prefer Demko but it really does not matter
if its something you just want to offer for either of these guys...you will probably piss the other GM so bad with this offer that they wont negotiate further....

It's hard to trust either guy today. If I am simply choosing who I think is the better goalie, I'd say Demko. If I am choosing who I feel is in a better spot, I'd say Husso. Not a great choice either way.
As mentioned, I dont know the whole deal but Demko is a serious buy low today. I am not paying fair market value for him so if that's the case then go with Husso. If you are getting Demko at a bargain barrel price, then it's Demko.

In my opinion it depends on your competitive window. I think Demko has the higher upside and is more talented. I think he's in the much worse position. But if your window is in 2-3 years, I'd easily want Demko. Over the long term betting on talent is always the right call.
Betting on situation can go sideways in a hurry. See Ned before the Canes trading him to the Wings for example. Husso's shown he can play, so it's not just a situation analysis. But I'd only go Husso here if you're looking to compete beginning next year.

Demko for me. There are rumblings he wants out of VAN and if he gets out he'd be in a much better position. Husso isn't as talented.
