I'd pass. Kreider isn't a keeper and while Dubois is a borderline keeper on your team, he's more valuable than Kreider. Kreider had one good year (last year).
I'm in a keeper, H2H cats league. We will keep eight players next year. I'm looking to use Dubois or Eriksson Ek to upgrade at wing. Unfortunately, it's been difficult finding a good fit in this league.
I originally offered Eriksson Ek+Copley for Chris Kreider. The other manager countered with Kreider+Charlie Lindgren for Dubois+Copley. The other team's starting goalies are Sorokin and Raanta with Kochetkov in the NA spot.
I feel like Dubois is just too rich. However, Kreider is the best winger I've had serious talks about. Talks about other potential targets have gone nowhere.
I'm leaning towards just standing pat, but Kreider would be a nice add.

I should clarify that we can keep up to eight players but don't have to keep anyone. Any unused keeper slots will be a draft pick in the first eight rounds of the draft. For example, if I keep six players I would have draft picks in rounds seven and eight. Teams that keep eight won't pick until the ninth round.
Thanks, I'm thinking the same thing. I actually countered with Eriksson Ek in place of Dubois. While I think EE is more valuable than Kreider, his production is mostly going to waste on the bench.
no Kreider is 32 and Pierre is 24, hard pass.
I prefer PLD over Kreider. If it were a 1 year league my answer may be different, but a keeper league makes it an easy choice for me.
This is likely going sideways at best. Factor in age differentials and this looks even worse. I see no advantage for you in doing this and in a keeper it could well be a step back. Pass for me.

I think Kreider has regressed bad to his norm. Last season was an outlier, He looks to have a bit of an improvement the rest of the way home, as he has been a little unlucky so far this season, but nothing substantial. I would not give up Dubois for him. EEK is fine, but that is the most I would give.
