Any advice for me?

I am losing this week 4-7-1 against the 2nd place team. The loss will keep me in 12th. Next week I play the 1st place team.
Are any of the following players worth a pickup? Who would I need to drop?

you lose because you lack grit, owning the likes of Panarin in multi-cat rarely leads to a winning roster for example if you do not address the cats he never touches. You have many players of this mold in Thomas, Terry, Klingberg, Zegras. First person to dump because it's keep 4 and you prob won't retain is Beniers and pick up Pageau, he is a low key stud in multi-cat. Even though you don't have FOW which really makes him valuable he still hits a lot.

If you have an IR+ slot move Knight there and pick up Forsberg who is starting tonight as well as the Tuesday game before the All-Star break, both against Montreal.

Carlson is dead, either drop or move to IR. Gustafsson over Klingberg or Durzi with the PP1 deployment.

If Bertuzzi doesn't find his game by the likes of Feb. 10 dump him for Kakko who is coming online, the Kid Line is re-finding their postseason form of last year. He will breakout before Laffy IMO.

I think we have addressed this before. As LuigiC173 mentions your roster lacks grit especially on D.
Your D should be counted on for Hits, Blocks and some shots as well as chipping in the odd point or two.
A number of your forwards are too soft. They provide points and not much else.
Have a close look at the top teams rosters. See where they get their hits, blocks and shots.
You have about 7 matches left to squeak into the playoffs.

If it were me, I would look to see who are my 4 keepers. Put everyone else on the block and try to improve your 4 keepers as well as obtain draft picks. That’s just me. Good luck.
