Creative Sign Idea - Flyers vs Jets

Hello all,

My son and I are trying to come up with a creative sign idea for the Flyers vs Jets game this Saturday?

Last year we went with:

'Now that #28 Giroux is gone...
who wants to be my favourite Flyer'

Three players threw a puck over for my son (he gave two of them to other kids).

Konecny had the best reaction to it....

So we are wondering about building off that sign last year... or if we can come up with something else creative for this year!

Something that creates a sense of competition among the players is a good idea. Many years ago I hung a bedsheet at a Mariners game and painted a big bullseye on it. Randy Johnson, Ken Griffey Jr and others spent time before the game trying to hit it.

No not particularly - Sanheim is a local player from our small town - but there will be 25 kids there targeting him.

So anything creative for any of the players or the team as a whole is fine!

Well there's always the good ole rock/paper/scissors for a puck trick with candy on the sign if you lose. Or just put a bunch of candy on a sign and say trade a puck for a candy bar.

I always like a good pun off a players name.

"No Diving Zone" with a picture of like Scheifele or someone on the Jets who is particularly weak on their feet

Ok so I wouldn't actually recommend this if your kid is really hoping to get a puck...

But a sign that says: "Trade puck for a chance to watch replays on my iPad" (and obviously have your kid bring an iPad).

Thanks to the Provorov incident that classic Torts comment just didn't get enough love!

My boy and I have narrowed it down to:

1) Trade puck for a chance to watch replays on my iPad

2) 7th Birthday Checklist
1. Cake
2. Presents
3. Tickets
4. Picture with a Flyer

Nitpicking here but for #2 I would make the following changes

7th Birthday Checklist
1. Cake
2. Gifts
3. Picture with a Flyer

The word Gift is shorter and matches the length of Cake (when typed). This will make 'Picture with a Flyer' stand out more.
A Top 3 instead of a Top 4 is more aesthetically pleasing (at least it is for me). Gets to the point of wanting a picture with a Flyer quicker.

^^ Yup agree, put either a ✓ or strikeout Cake and Gifts.

I can also get behind doing Flyer Tickets instead of Gifts.

My vote is with #2
That one I see getting the most response. As a bonus you wouldn't have to bring an ipad to the game.
