Goalie Trade - Hellebuyck, Skinner & Tavares. Landeskog status?

Hello everyone,
I've been working on this trade for a few days and I'm hoping for some input. My squad is currently in third place.

I send:
Tavares
Letang
Skinner

I receive:
Hellebuyck
Landeskog - IR Stash
Arvidsson - I will drop to gain a streamer postion.

My Demko has either been terrible or hurt all year so basically I have had the zero goalie strategy most of the season. I feel good at Center and D so losing Tavares and Letang should not hurt too much.

There is a lot of risk on Landeskog. Some sites have mentioned they may keep him on IR until the playoffs like Tampa did with Kucherov a few years ago. However, it's tough to pass on a top line player for Colorado that have an excellent fantasy playoff schedule.

You have the depth at D to lose Letang. The goalie upgrade is huge. You do thin your centers out a bit. And you don’t necessarily need a LW. Ultimately, the goalie upgrade is the huge win here. I’d take it, knowing you’re creating risk at your center position.

Yep, this is a win for you whether Landeskog returns or not. The significant upgrade in net justifies this. In a 12 team league any shortfall at forward could likely be patched up with an FA although Arvidsson could be one of the better options particularly if he has both RW and LW status in your league and a decent C should be available as well.

I like this as well. YOu can afford to part with Letang, who is good, to upgrade in net massively and possibly get Landeskog for the fantasy playoffs.

I say go with the best player most times and in this case arguably the best goalie in the league this year. You get a rock as your G1, I'd take Hellebuyck for sure here
