I have Murray, Vanacek, Lindgren, and Blackwood.

I've been offered Kuemper for Murray.

That would give me both Wash goalies and NJ.

However, could be worth keeping Murray as he could end up taking most of the starts and the way Lindgren has played, he'll get more starts as well.

    What do we think?

I'm minus 6 in goal and need all the goalie games possible.

    3pts for a win

    Extra 2 for shutout

2 goalie positions available to start

    Thanks!!!

The Leafs look really good, and I think they are in the top 5 in GAA. Murray if healthy, should get 30 wins and have great GAA and SV%. I would keep him and try to deal Lindgren as fast as you can. Maybe shore up that position or another one. Even if you make that deal, Lindgren might be to Kuemper as Samsonov is to Murray. A constant worry.

Leafs have 49games left. They should be a 65% win team to finish the yr off for a 32w-17L record. This would mean the team would finish 52-24-6 (110pts). If they are closer to a 68% win team then it's 33 wins so not much of a difference.

Leafs have 49games, and 32wins up for grabs between Samsonov, Murray, and slight chance Kallgren. Kallgren gets 2 because lets make the numbers even.

47games, 30wins. Murray and Samsonov have split 50/50 so far and that will continue. So we're looking at 23 (or 24) games each, and 15wins. Murray has 9wins already. So Murray should finish around 24wins on the yr.

Matt Murray from now to the end of the yr should be 15W-8L.

Kuemper has been hurt and was the starter in Washington. With 48games left, Washington should be around a 55-58% win team. So 26/28w-20/22L. Kuemper gets 60-65% of those games:
    29GP, 16/17W-12/13L

Matt Murray will get 15 more wins, Kuemper will get 16-17 more wins. If it's only wins as the cat (I don't totally take shutouts into account, it's too rare), I'd do Kuemper. If there's negative points for goals against, I'd go Murray. If there's a saves bonus, I'd go Kuemper.

    Thanks guys.

    2014olympicgold - I think you've broken it down well.

My league counts boths goals against and saves.

But let's be honest, I think at the end of the day we are splitting hairs here if your calculations are correct.

    Agree?

    It's a tough call.

But I think I'm going to see if I can leverage Lindgren to get a little upgrade.

If you count GA (negative), saves (positive), and wins (positive) I'm going with the more likely starter in Kuemper.

The volume of saves is enough for me to go Kuemper's side.

    Keep Murray.
Leafs are a top 5 defensive team this year - and that includes a good stretch with Kallgren in net and missing Muzzin-Rielly-Brodie and Benn (same time).
They held TB to 8 shots through 2 periods last night.
It's hard to bet against a Tor G this year with the structure & commitment they're showing in their own end.

I'd go with Kuemper. As good as Murray's been, the constant fear of an injury would have me go for the more sure thing. Capitals getting healthier now too, and Kuemper has missed his time this year

Agree with 2014 and Liam - give me Kuemper here for those reasons
