Tournament starts officially Dec 26, but there are camps and pre-tournament scrimmages coming up soon.

I saw a story today that said 85% of tix are sold. I have friends that bought Moosehead season tickets for this year just so they could get first right of refusal for their seats in Halifax for the games. Package price for all the Halifax games was something like $1800 - 2000. Yikes!

I usually am quite excited over this tournament, but the cloud of Hockey Canada is still over this. I think Bedard playing in this is going to save a lot of viewers this yr for Canadians.

Does anyone know if TSN will be using the same digital ads on the boards that the NHL does for the WJC tournament? I don't want to get into a rant about how much I loathe them but whether I sign up for TSNDirect or not to watch will be decided when I find out

Very excited! Regardless of Canada scandals I’m always giddy to see prospects and future stars battle it out. Surprised that Wright didn’t make the team since it was assumed he was conditioning in AHL then being shipped off to WJC.

I believe you'll see Wright and Brandt Clarke added to the team in the coming days. The camp doesn't officially open until Friday.

Dylan Guenther wasn't listed either and I thought I had seen a quote from Bill Armstrong saying he would be released to play in the tourny.

I think this could wind up being one of the more lopsided world juniors in recent memory. Canada's roster is so far above and beyond everyone else. Especially if the NHLers get released.

As in recent years, the goalies for Canada are a big question mark.

Wright and Clarke are both in for Canada. Like Dolly Parton, this team will be top heavy.

Are there camp lists out for any of the other teams? I've seen CAN and US, and Czech just got announced this morning, but haven't seen any others.

2023 draft eligible defenseman Axel Sandin-Pellikka may get a nice spot in the line up thanks to some injuries.

I don't understand why canada left Savoie out of the camp. Bring the speed worry about the rest later, it's not 2008 anymore.
