    Default Boeser vs. Raymond

Points only keeper, team is in a semi-rebuild (this season not too important) and hope to be competitive in 1-2 years. Long term, who would you rather have, Brock Boeser or Lucas Raymond?

Raymond for me. I've never been a big Boeser fan and you have to like where Detroit is headed.

Raymond may already be the better player. Definitely more valuable in the future.

I like Boeser. For this year. After that, let's put it this way, Raymonds floor is Boeser's ceiling (:

Raymond has tons of upside still and we already know who boeser is and it is not all that good. To me it’s easily Raymond

I think I go Raymond but this is the kind of thing im talking about lately. I had no idea boesers perceived value has taken THAT much of a hit. I think Raymond's floor being boesers ceiling is hogwash myself- respectfully- and I think all he need is one 35 goal 60 plus point season and everyone will go back to thinking of uim as a ppg sniper or better.

Yes all things being equal you take Raymond but ill tell you what I'm asking about boeser in my leagues. I posted a boeser for Matthew's offer on this board ages ago and Matthew's won but not only was it close- everyone who commented thought it was a fair discussion. I'm not saying he's as good as Matthew's a lot has changed for Matthew's specifically since then but this is a very young player and as poolies were just frustrated he hasn't found his niche. We've invested draft capital- trade caoital- heartache- money- and hes disappointed us. Of course that will change OUR view of him. Does it change his actual upside though??

    NOT ONE TINY IOTA!!!

I don't own boeaer im not being a fanboy but this is a great example of where you should zig where the boards are zagging. Let's be honest that whole team is a mess. They're forcing the kuzme ko experiment- Miller is being leaned on like he's being paid which is waaaay too heavily. As a holtz owner I hope this doesn't happen but how much do we like boeser in NJ?? The gossip du hour is Calgary wants him- if he finds himself on the topne with a natural setup man in huberdeau??

Thank you for the insight- I've got a boeser owner to talk to...
