Hey guys!
I‘m talking to the Matthews owner about a potential Matthews+ for Marner+ trade!
He asked for Marner+Dahlin for Matthews+Weegar!
I don‘t want to give up Dahlin.
Would you think Marner+1st for Matthews is ok to counter?
It‘s a prospect draft every year and my first would be about one of the latter picks because i won last year and right now i’m top of the league!
I also thought about Marner+Hertl for Matthews?
What do you guys think about that situation!

I would start with Marner and Hertl for Matthews and then explore Marner and a 1st for Matthews. Both are fair trades in my opinion.

He just wants Marner and Dahlin and i‘m not willing to give up that much!

I mean dahlin and marner is too much but marner and filler should not really be something he considers. I'm not saying your first is filler but hertl sure is. I'd do the first if he's onboard.
And the argument about position doesn't hold merit when you're adding a guy who can break your goal and sog cats....
