Patrick Kane. Leave him or attempt to acquire him ?

I would probably offer Fiala. He’s a point per game plus over 2 shots a game. Then there is the traditional 2nd half surge.
Kane is under a point a game, but he’s over 3 shots a game. The big “if” , will he get traded and is it worth the upside if he does and becomes the Kane we’re used to seeing ?

It’s tempting. Fiala second half surge or Kane’s new location. If he doesn’t get moved is there enough difference between the two and what type of impact would it have on my team going forward. I’m leaning towards taking the chance. Or at least making the offer. The OGM has an older keeper group and could be interested. If it pans out it’s worth the gamble.

I think he gets moved, but one of the largest suitors is sitting outside of the playoffs (NYR). So I can't say for sure where he'd be going anymore.

However, I think Fiala holds more value.

However, if you choose to go after Kane, I think Fiala is a fair offer. If it's rejected, then that's it don't over pay. I think honestly Danault is the only player on the roster that's worse than Kane, but closest value, and the other GM would be nuts to accept that.

You'd get slightly worse if you moved Rielly, Burns, Fiala, E.Kane or Trochek for Kane. You'd get better if you moved Danault or Goodrow. And again, the other GM would be nuts to accept those guys.

I like the idea of aquiring Kane…i just got him in a trade for Dunn in my league!

It depends where he gets dealt to…but every team which is better than the blackhawks should increase Kanes totals…

This one is so simple and why it takes so long is beyond me...Kane's hometown is Buffalo. Buffalo has $21M in the bank right now. Kane has won three cups so why would he ever consider a sleazy rental deal? Come home and win one more cup for your hometown. Why Buffalo doesn't do this yesterday is beyond me...They have the supporting cast to make this decision What a great hockey story this would be. Get Kane.

Certainly if Patrick Kane ends up on the Rangers he is going to help one of the lines that are struggling to score at the moment. The question is, do you take a chance on him getting traded to a team like the Rangers or maybe the Sabres and see what happens or do you go with Fiala who is on the top line in Los Angeles with Kopitar and Kempe and is more of a sure thing. If it was me, I would stay with Fiala.
