Hughes for Makar
Hey guys.
2nd league in sig. Keep 7.
I have been offered his Hughes for my Makar.
I wasn't looking to trade Makar and love having him.
I think Hughes is on his way to becoming a superstar. But Makar is already there.
I think my D can absorb losing Makar this year but who is better long term.
I also have Hischier so would look to get a second player by trading him because I don't really want two Cs from same team

I would need McDavid for Makar. Even then it depends on the format.
Hughes barely begins to move the needle for me.

In a keeper league I want McDavid, Draisaitl, or Matthews for Makar. Makar is the best Dman in the league and you only keep 7. I think owning Makar carries a lot of weight in your league.
Jack Hughes is great but he's not in that category of players I'd trade Makar for.

The New Jersey Devils are my favorite team and players like Jack Hughes, Jesper Bratt, Dougie Hamilton, and Vitek Vanecek have higher value to me than a lot of players, but there are certain players that the higher value doesn't come into play and Cale Makar is one of those players along with McDavid, Matthews, Draisaitl, Mackinnon, and Draisaitl.

If you NEED to have DMEN on your active roster there is nobody that comes close to Makar long-term. There are 15 centers like Hughes...There's only one DMAN like Makar. It's all about relative advantage. Keep Makar
