This yr you can make an argument for Samsonov, but it's Demko for dynasty easily. Samsonov could sign an 7yr deal with Arizona next yr for all we know

I don't know your goalie stats but I'd lean Demko. Demko has a good history (this year has been terrible) but Samsonov has never really made it IMO. I just like Demko's consistency more and think he's a goalie on the rise.

Today Demko and maybe going forward. But if Samsonov becomes the Leafs guy after this year, then I'd go with him. Purely for the team as I think Demko is the better goalie of the two, just going with situation.

Samsonov's future is dependent on if he wants to stay or not really. Murray is still under contract for next yr, and Samy is an RFA.

He signed for less with Toronto (was offered more money and term elsewhere apparently) so he could build his value up more. I'm not holding my breath that he's staying. But it's def not out of the question especially with Murray's injury history, the Leafs do need a guy who can start with Murray.

I do believe that the Leafs have a better team than the Canucks, but the Canucks team is not that awful and Demko is the for now and the future Goalie in Vancouver. I like Demko over Samsonov now and in the future.

Thanks for the feedback. I own Samsonov so was just wondering if I should make a play on Demko while he is finding his game. It is a Dynasty/Keeper league. I do think it really depends on the how you see the direction of the Leafs and the Canucks going forward. Canucks have done a poor job of drafting and developing so the cupboards are pretty bare.. Samsonov is the unknown and (Bubble) Demko is just going through what lots of players go through at the moment.

It's funny how quickly folks change their tune on players. Before this season started, this wouldn't have been a discussion but a quarter of the way through the season and people are already changing tunes. Demko would have been the clear cut choice 20ish NHL games ago.
