How do we feel about this kid? I just traded Burakovsky for him. I think Cooley has the upside to be much better than Bura, and I’m not competing this year so I figured trading for a guy with big upside was a good move. Just crossing my fingers he pans out now…

Not much has changed for me on Cooley's projections. Oozes potential and upside. I think he's probably at least 2 years out so be prepared to be patient, even after he arrives in the NHL. It might take him a season or two in the NHL before he starts to show what we expect. Long term prospect when it's all said and done. If he hits before that, consider it a bonus.

I personally think he will be better that Bura by end of 24-25 season at the latest but I agree that it will take few years after that to see his full potential
