Sanderson vs Addison

Who’s the better guy to own in my league below? Sanderson is in a great spot, but that’s probably only temporary while Chabot is out. Addison has cooled off a ton and I’m not getting any production from him at the moment.

I don’t think I will be in the majority here when I say Sanderson.

I watch almost every Sens game and Sanderson is always consistent. This is where things get controversial. Chabot is starting to fall out of favour with Sens fans. He makes lazy plays and plays a slower game than his teammates want, especially on the PP. It is very noticeable. Coach DJ still relies on Chabot for too much ice time, but I think when he comes back, you see him start to lose some of those minutes to Sanderson. Sanderson will eventually be better than Chabot.

Agree. Pretty sure Sanderson will pass Chabot…But Addison is no 1 in Minnessota. I think you can’t be wrong with both, but will go with Addison.

I think posts above undervalue Chabot based on slow start.

personally I think Addison has better deployment but Sanderson is a better player… I tend to go with better player as deployment will figure itself out in most instances.

Yes, it is true. The tide was already turning prior to his injury. Now, the organization that is prone to terrible pro scouting just needs to figure it out too.

I don't disagree, however, using the waiver wire is critical in one-year leagues (although I play roto, not H2H), even if only for temporary patch jobs. If Addison is giving the OP nothing and he is losing his match ups, then I would suggest it is time to shake it up. Addison is on the wire in both of my leagues, Sanderson was scooped up in both.

Edit - this was supposed to include the quote from Belexus' post and build on the sentiment of people undervaluing Chabot due to his slow start.

Same in our league, Sanderson is taken while Addison is on the wire. I know a lot of people are really hyped about Addison, but the numbers are not really there at the moment even though he has a lot of opportunities. Given how the wilds are performing as of now, I would not be surprised if they try to mix things up.

Sanderson would never be pushed out in Ottawa. Further cementing my earlier opinion on this thread.
