Addison for Byfield?
In a 16-Team Keep 12 w/ 20 minors (<162GP), do you trade Addison for Byfield if you aren’t competing for 3 years (full rebuild)? We roster 9F (3 of each) and 6D…which makes D more valuable than the typical league. Cats are G,A,PIMs,SOG,H+B,SpecialTeamPts and GWG.
Byfield owner is competing so if the deal is good for me, he may do it to get the streaming minors points from Addison.
I’m new to the league and everyone says C’s have a decreased value because of their abundance and I’m noticing the truth to it.

I'd keep Addison. In 3-5 years, maybe Byfield is more valuable. But in a system that seems to provide added emphasis on points, having Addison in the near future is better. Put another way, in one year's time Addison's value should have risen more than Byfield's will have risen. You can probably make the same deal and get more than Byfield next November, if you want to.

I also like the idea of holding Addison, and hoping that his value increases more than Byfield's. I think Byfield has a higher ceiling, but it will take more time for him to get there.

I absolutely take Byfield here.. too many people seem to be down on him.. he just turned 20 three months ago.. extremely young! Make the swap!
