Id go Kane, who at 34 should go cheaper, but will absolutely explode once traded to the Rangers or another contender.
20 team H2H cap league with bangers stats and FOW. I took this team over earlier this year and am rebuilding it, but it's in the playoff hunt due to a bit of good luck, and some decent waiver finds.
A bottom feeding team is looking to move these two guys, and made me an offer involving Kane I liked enough to talk. Tarasenko is now on the block, and I expect he'd be cheaper to acquire, and the cap hit is lower this year. Acquiring either would not consume my entire cap space, and I think one of them should put me into the playoffs fairly solidly.
Who to pursue?

I was thinking the exact same thing about Kane. Once he is traded to a contending team, he is going to really produce. I would go for him.
Yes to Kane, no to Tarasenko. Kane's skills are the kind that will last into his late thirties, i.e., he doesn't need athleticism or speed in order to be valuable.
Yeah, I would think that Kane's age and slow start would make him easier to acquire. I'd target him over Tank.
