I loved cheering for Bret when he was a heel but Macho Man was always so much fun even when he was just shilling cured meat sticks.
Absolutely, perfect.

The cream always rises to the top.
While not on the level as the previous mentions, I loved watching the Bushwackers lol

While we're posting classic videos this is one of my favs
I went to a local wrestling event a year or so ago. It was at the back of a hall and had $5 beers. Let me tell you....it was a blast.
My top-5 in no particular order:
Bret Hart
Goldberg
The Rock
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Sting
Keeper league 14 teams (H2H, 20 active players keep 16 NHLers, 16 minors)
Scoring Cats: G-A-PTS-PPG-PPA-(+/-)-HITS-BLK-SHP-SOG-FOW-GWG / W-L-SVS-SV%-GAA-SO
C- Crosby, Barzal, Bennett, Strome, Cooley, Fantilli
W- Forsberg, Batherson, Nichuskin, Tuch, Konecny, Neighbours, Marchenko, Drouin, Sherwood
D- Carlson, Rielly
G- Hellebuyck, Demko, Vejmelka, Merzlikins
Minors:
F: Perreault, Cowan, Greentree, Blake, Unger Sorum, Bourgault, Goyette, Iskhakov
D: Parekh, Evans, Brzustewicz, Simashev, Willander, Solberg
G: Schmidt, Rodrigue, Murashov, DiPietro, Gaudreau
All deserved except Goldberg who honestly had zero appeal to me... horrible wrestler, horrible entertainer, no charisma whatsoever. Talk about one dimensional.
He never deserved the pushes he got. Worst of all he ended Bret Hart's career with his wrecklessness and incompetence.
My Top 5 (in order)
Bret Hart
Shawn Michaels
Stone Cold
Sting
The Rock
Oh man, I dont know if I can narrow it down to 5... this list isn't necessarily the best wrestlers or best entertainers, just some of my personal favorites.
Rey Mysterio Jr
Jeff Hardy
Shawn Michaels
Chris Jericho
Bret Hart
Honorable mentions:
Randy Savage
British Bulldog
Buff Bagwell
Kevin Nash
Scott Hall/Razor Ramon
Justin Credible
Special mention to Owen Hart whose career was really on the way up when his life was tragically cut short. He had the talent to get on the same level as his brother. I remember I was at a house show when I was around 10 years old and High Energy (Owen and Koko B Ware) came out for a tag match. I ran down to the barriers and got to slap Owen's hand but missed Kokos and I was so disappointed because Koko was way more famous at the time. But Owen definitely ended up being the better talent.

HBK
The Rock
Austin
Jericho
Angle/Undertaker/Lesnar/HHH
Mick Foley.
I love talking classic (for me Attitude Era) wrestling.
Grew up exclusively watching WWF/E and with a hatrid for WCW. My young teenaged spirit was crushed after Bret left for WCW and the Montreal Screwjob (which I watched live with my best friend at a big entertainment complex at the Mall).
I always preferred the midsized guys who could work and fly as opposed to just the monster duded.
Bret Hart, the Excellence of Execution was by far my favorite of all time.
After that for me it goes: 2. The Rock, he really is/was the most electrifying man in Sports Entertainment
3. HBK, I "forgave him" eventually after the Montreal Screwjob and DX was awesome.
4. The Undertaker. His early gimmick with Paul Bearer was just so creepy and awesome. When he would take a pummeling and then Bearer would talk to the urn and he would just sit straight up was always a cool spot. Plus the concept of a "casket match" and buried alive matches were just soo cool. I was not following as much when Undertaker became an American Biker, that was not as cool but the straight up longevity of his career, and the Wrestlemania streak, was awesome.
I do not follow at all anymore, but see bits and pieces on social media. I understand that Roman Reigns is a massive champ right now and hear rumblings and rumors that the Rock could come back (presumably at Wrestlemania) for a huge match vs. Reigns. If that were to happen I think I would watch Wrestlemania for the first time since Bret Hart returned to WWE.

I've had HBK's theme music stuck in my head all morning and I'm still not sure if I'm upset about that. Either way, it's all y'all's fault.
