Greatly amused by how Ryan Reynolds chose to express his interest in buying this team.
Should be interesting to see if he can put a compelling consortium to buy the team. It was also well received in Nashville when Carrie Underwood would bring her famous friends to games like Taylor Swift haha.

If there was any justice, yes. Many believe a team should’ve been here a long time ago. As in 1992, when Ottawa was awarded the expansion franchise that should’ve been playing at the corner of York and Bay. Other times, too. But now?
Maybe it’s just having been down this road so many times, but we’re not tucking away money for a season-ticket deposit. Just start with the public position the sellers have already taken.
“A condition of any sale will be that the team remains in Ottawa,” franchise chairman and governor Sheldon Plener said in a statement last week.

Andlauer has been a good AHL/OHL owner for Hamilton (I think he owns a small piece of the Habs as well still.) Ottawa would be lucky to have him, especially since he's been willing to put his own money up for arena construction which can't be said about many owners.
