Default #1 waiver on Eli Mitchell? REP

Well, it would technically be #2 waiver, but the guy that dropped him had #1. 10 team PPR league.

My team is off to a 4-1 start, with the one loss being a devastating Monday night loss by 3 points (meanwhile, I also won one week I had no business winning lol).

Team looks pretty strong, but we know how FF goes and that changes quick:

    QB - Burrow
    WR - Deebo
    WR - Higgins
    WR - D. Smith
    RB - CMC
    RB - Stevenson
    TE - Kelce
    Flex - Mostert
    Flex - M. Thomas

BN - J. Meyers, Dillon, Akers (although he may be a drop with ongoing personal situation), J. Williams, D. Hillard, Warren

Mitchell was a big part of my championship team last year, so I have a soft spot for him. Out until week 11/12 ish and Wilson is running very well. SF has a pretty nice FF playoff schedule as well.

Would you claim him? Rep wherever I can, as always. Thank you in advance!

If you think he gets claimed, I’d do it as you will be in the running come week 11 so he will give you that boost.

I didn’t read too much on his status so I’m taking your word for it for week 11/12 but he’s definitely worth it if he can come back with enough weeks to help give you the edge.

Yes, I would definitely spend it on him. He’ll be a big part of that offense once he checks back in.

Yes, use the priority. It doesn't sound like you need to put in a FAB bid on him and just lose the priority? I'd definitely use it regardless. I don't know who specifically your drop is but I see a few options on your bench.

12 team H2H Most Cats Wins; Keep 6/winner keeps 7; G A PPP +/- SHP SOG HIT BLK PIM // W SV GAA SV% SHO
    3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 6D, 2G, 5 bench

    C - McDavid, Crosby, Tavares
    LW - DeBrincat
    RW - Meier, Miller
    D -
    G - Jarry
