Without me, it's only "aweso".
This guy can't seem to catch a break with the injury bug.

just brutal. i thought he had a chance to usurp Krug on PP1. alas it was not in the cards
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
Tough going for him. Well there’s always next year.
Call me old one more time.

****...I just drafted him on the weekend. Was hoping for a breakout.
Not only is this concerning for the upcoming season, but now I have serious doubts about his long-term capability of being an NHL regular. He's now lost three key development years to injury. A lot of players won't come back from that, and unfortunately for him he never even got a chance to get his career started.

Wow. Krug goes UP
For sure.
Posted this in the other thread.
Apparently before training camp GM Armstrong said about Perunovich: "You can't make the club from the tub."
Ouch.
This is also going to spur activity on the Chychrun to Blues front, not only this but Scandella out and some young unproven dmen now having to step up.

Best type of ability is availability. Sucks for him, but part of an NHLer is health.

I loved Perunovich, had been holding onto him since drafting him back in 2018 in my keeper dynasty pool.
Two weeks ago, I was offered Weegar in a deal giving up Perunovich. I ended up taking the deal, and then this happens.
I feel so bad for the kid, he just can't stay healthy.

Haven't seen this reported on the forums yet, but Perunovich appears to be well ahead of schedule here. Recently assigned to Springfield for a conditioning stint, which is encouraging.

Fair point. Although I'd think his value was at an all-time low following this injury, and an "early" return here has his value on the upswing again.
But, I'm totally on board with your basic point -- it's important to see him stay healthy for a bit before getting too excited.
