Georgeiv started both of a back-to-back in Europe on Friday and Saturday. Really did not see that coming given the games were back to back and the travel to Europe. Georeiv won game 1 but gave up 3 to the Blue Jackets.
Slightly concerning for this Francouz owner...

I was surprised and disappointed to see that. Mostly because I started Francouz.
I think with the days off this week, Bednar may want to test Georgiev or keep him sharp for next week. But I have no idea really why Bednar decided to bench Francouz this weekend.

The reason Georgiev has been the obvious starting goalie (and the obviously better goalie) all season can't be because they saw something in him and brought him in to be the starter....like Sakic said...

Tides may be turning on this one. Suddenly Francouz has a better save percentage and a much better GAA and has started two of the past 3 games. Georgiev has given up 3 or more goals in 4 of his last 5 starts.

I believe Georgiev has 7 quality starts to Francouz's 4 quality starts. Both goalies doing well.
Colorado has a way of developing great goalies.

Francouz already was a great goalie. Georgiev was a wild card. Colorado has a way of making goalies look good. This is a tandem and will be until someone gets hurt.

Both these Goalies are bound to have success. Colorado's offense is tremendous and their defense is very good as well. They both are going to put up really good numbers on this team.

Both are playing well, but Georgiev is the clear starter.
