    Default Point for Rielly

I was offered Point for Rielly this morning for league in sig. I feel this is a tad lopsided as Rielly is far more valuable as defenseman in a points only league than Point is as a forward. Thoughts? Maybe counter with Doughty for Point, or is that now lopsided the other way around? The guy who offered it has crappy Dmen fwiw.

The question I would have for you is your league starts 5 Defensemen and trading Rielly would leave you only with 6. That is pretty thin. I am not against making this trade, but maybe not Rielly. would you then be thinking of dropping one of your Forwards to pick up a Defensemen? I also see Rielly as a Defense getting close to 70 points and Point as a Center getting close to 60 points. So you would be giving up a bit too much. I also think Doughty wouldn't be enough.

I think you overvalue your guy and undervalue his…. This is as close as it gets and it depends on what position u need more

Yes that would be the plan, drop a lower Forward like Killorn or Oshie for another Dman. Only thing is the waiver is thin. Karlsson is available, maybe he could be a good bounce back candidate this year with Burns gone if he can stay healthy.

In points leagues I value Dmen higher as the position is thinner and points from them are harder to come by. So this trade would be going against that principle, but Point is a very decent Forward which is why I’m considering it.

I just see Rielly as a bit too much straight up for Point. Maybe Doughty and Oshie for Point might work.

I’d probably roll that trade if he’d go for it.

with blocks worth .5 if I'm not mistaken then no. These guys will accrue similar point totals maybe ten to fifteen more if Point really pops off but Morgan gave forty three points in blocks to Brayden's 13.5 last year. Morgan is more durable, shoots more, same if not better PP points.

I ended up offering him Bratt for Point just as a random counter and he took it. I thought he just wanted to get better in the defensive side but apparently was just trade hungry or wanting to unload Point for some reason. Not sure if I made a mistake but oh well. I think Point if he can stay healthy is in for a bounce back year. And vice versa, Bratt never cracked 40 points until last years breakout. I feel a regression coming for him. Guess we will see.
